WHO WE ARE?
I was born in Essex and grew up in East London before again returning to Essex during my senior school years.
Then followed a busy life living in Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex, Bucks, Ireland, Dorset and now I am settled in beautiful Devon.
Dartmoor National Park officially starts 4 miles away from home, so my love of wild open moorland is understandably biased. Saying that I spent many days walking through the stunning chalklands of the South Downs National Park.
You will find plenty of words and photos dedicated to that very photogenic part of England. Have you explored Sussex recently, please do let me know via the comments section on every blog post.
Every corner of our natural world contains wonderful memories and yet to be discovered adventures. Tell us about why you love where you live, about that amazing Dorset sunset, that peaceful vista across a Scottish loch.
I hope I have provided just a few ideas of new places to visit, to encourage you to step outdoors and get active in nature. To listen to the rhythmic sound of waves on shingle, of the moorland wind against the granite.
The distant call of a bird of prey as the farmer ploughs the fields.
